Come along to the South Ribble Museum & Exhibition Centre - National Archaeology Festival - July 16th - 31st 2016.

Saturday 16thJuly 2016 at 11 am - Illustrated talk by Prof Bill Brierley - "The Somme:Bamber Bridge and Lostock Hall men at war".

Saturday  23rd July 2016 at 10.60 am  - Fieldwork report and short  Walk -  with David Hunt - "The Hey-Ashmore surveys of Leyland Old church Yard 1932 & 2016.

Saturday 30th July 2016 at 11 am - illustrated  lecture "Achaeology in the North West" - Dr Rachel Newman, Director, Oxford Archaeology North.

Sunday 31st  July 2016 at 2 pm - Archaeology Walk the discovery of the Cuerdale Hoard - 3 miles with David Hunt  and Dr Fiona Edmunds (Deparment of Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and celtic Studies University of Cambridge - St Leonard's Church, Cuerdale Lane, Walton le Dale.
