Description
Leyland Festival is planning to put on the ‘Greatest Show in Lancashire’ this summer with an action-packed day brimming with fun activities and entertainment for all the family.
The magic of musical theatre will transform Leyland’s town centre into the heart of Theatreland with the Leyland Festival theme of ‘Music from the Shows’ set to inspire a carnival spirit across the town. So, whether you love the Broadway classics or prefer something with a more modern twist, there will be something for everyone at this year’s Leyland festival

Each year the event begins with the traditional vehicle parade convening at the McDonald's roundabout at the bottom of Hough Lane at 12 noon and process through Leyland ending at Worden Park - the popular parade features businesses and local community group floats, marching bands, dance troupes and heritage vehicles.
Entry cost is £2.50 prior to the event or £3.00 on the day, under 16's are free.

Road Directions
From the north and south, take junction 28 off the M6 and follow the brown signs to Worden Park.
Public Transport Directions
From Preston city centre, take the bus service 111, 112 to Towngate, Leyland, then take a short walk to Worden Park. From Chorley centre, take the bus service 109, 109A, 114, 115 to Leyland Cross, then take a short walk to Worden Park.
