Hope Lego Suffragette - House of Commons National Tour Loan at Leyland 5th - 30th September 2019

Hope, our Lego suffragette is now avilable on loan to organisations across the UK to help tell the story of women's suffrage 100 years after the first women gained the right to vote.

Hope was built in 2018 for the UK Parliament's Education and Engagement Team - we asked the public to vote to name our sister, and they chose Hope!

In ten years we will be celebrating the 1928 Representation of the People (Equal Franchise) Act whoch gave equal voting rights to all women and men. Builsing Hope and seeing her tour the Uk in the lead up to 2028 is agreat way to celebrate this centenary.

Details about Hope - Hope was built by the Lego Group - it took three people 171 hours to build her. She's made from 32,327 bricks and is 170 cm tall. Hope is designed for indoor use, can be touched and photographed.
