What to see and what to do!

Worden Park is Leyland’s best kept secret! Only a short walk away from Hough Lane, you can be relaxing in the parkland, exploring the woodland and folly or having an adventure in the children’s playground. The Park is over 150 acres in size including the formal gardens and has green flag status. The Arts and Craft Centre offers you craft workshops, a coffee shop and fully equipped theatre with conservatory bar and lounge, all in the historic buildings of Worden Hall.

A short distance from Worden Park you can visit the restored 16th century Grammar School, which is home to the South Ribble Museum and Exhibition Centre, reflecting the borough's history and the venue for a monthly exhibitions programme.

The British Commercial Vehicle Museum, located in Leyland town centre, holds Britain’s commercial vehicle heritage. You can take a journey through time and explore the unique display of historic commercial vehicles spanning a century of truck and bus building. The museum hosts special events for enthusiasts and for everyone who enjoys a day out.
