David is a small well established retailer, offering quality produce and friendly service with specialities available on request.

Leyland connection:
David has been established for 21 years on Leyland Market, initially standing at the Cross and then moving to the relocated market in the town centre.

About the business:
He sells a wide variety of fruit and vegetables, both local and worldwide, as fresh as you can find anywhere due to its directness of supply. The majority of his produce is local and sold loose and can be picked by the customer from its original packing box. He also sells a wide range of potato varieties and stocks new potatoes all year round.

Most proud of:
Despite the influx of both larger and smaller supermarkets into Leyland, all within a 1 mile radius of the new market location, David has managed to remain successful.

One wish:
If there was one wish it would be for the Council to continue to increase passing trade to the market.
