Home grown and locally produced shrubs, heathers, plants and flowers, fresh produce daily and all grown in the Leyland locality.

Leyland connection:
We have had a stall on Leyland market for 30 years and also at Garstang market. We live in South Ribble and support other growers by buying produce from them and we also supply other local growers.

About the business:
We sell our own grown cut flowers, bedding plants, shrubs, cyclamen, primulas, pansies and pansethias. We make our own Christmas pots and wreaths and keep the travelling to within a radius of 5 miles.

Most proud of:
We are most proud of the fact that most of our produce is grown by ourselves and we have been doing it for 30 years. We are the original farmers market stall, we keep the transport and costs down and have a very firm and supportive and loyal customer base.

Interesting:
One local artist painted a picture of our stall in Garstang and it appeared in one of the local shops and also a Leyland customer painted a watercolour of our Leyland stall and we bought that off him. We have also had our pictures in various magazines and papers.

Other favourite shop:
Our favourite shop is Poppy’s florist because it shows in their window how creative you can be with a few flowers.

Celebrity connection:
The most famous face to visit our stall was David Borrows, which is good because he shows an interest in the area he represents.

One wish:
If there was one wish it would be that the residents of South Ribble support their local market of which many products are sold here and locally sourced.
