We offer the highest standards of Beauty & Holistic Treatments. We are open 6 days a week and offer late nights. My staff are highly qualified, longstanding and pro-active in continual studies and improvements.

Leyland connection:
I opened the salon in 2004, on just one side of the lower ground floor as Beauty-by-Jane. After 3 years I expanded to take over the whole ground floor and re-named it ‘About Beauty’. I had 6 years experience in a mobile business around the South Ribble and Chorley areas, before opening my salon.

I want people to know that ‘About Beauty’ is not just a business, it’s a passion! Every client is treated as an individual in a relaxed environment.

As the owner I am the forefront of the business and feel this reflects in the attention to detail and the care our clients are given. I’m proud that our staff doesn’t constantly change – you will always see the same faces when you arrive for your treatment.

Interesting:
I’m not just a Beauty Therapist, I am a qualified Tutor in Beauty, my passion for the industry comes through with every client, I feel passionately about my job and love to help girls who come on work experience to be the very best they can!

Favourite shop:
When I go down to Hough Lane I like the market, the food there is fantastic and it’s got a lovely community feel to it.

Celebrity connection:
Stephen Baylis (the singer) is on of my clients. Stephen sings all over, including the Pines.
